Concert for Kolarac

Kolarac hes been a bastion of  Serbian culture for more than a century. It is a building in the heart of downtown Belgrade built by money endowed by Ilija Milosavljevic Kolarac (born in 1800 in village of Kolari near city of Smederevo, Serbia, died in 1878). It is a clasicall music concert hall, art gallery,  school of foreign languages at any and all levels, home to Belgrade Madrigalists choir, throughout the year home of series of lectures for general public given by to authorities in their fields and much, much more

Due to the poor economic situation in Serbia it is in dire need of financial resources to continue to operate and purchase new piano for main concert hall in Belgrade. A group of enthusiasts came up with an idea to organize simultaneous concerts in many cities throughout the world where Serbian artists living in those countries will perform for free and all proceeds from concerts and donations will go directly to Kolarac's fund. It is a noble effort worth being supported.

Charity event - Koncert for Kolarac - free concert for the support ot the oldest concert hall in Serbia - Kolarac.
