Belgrade String Quartet, founded in January 1990, became one of the leading chamber ensembles in Yugoslavia following the Quartet's successful concert activities and wide presence in the media. The Quartet performed at numerous international festivals of chamber music in Belgrade and other cities of former Yugoslavia. The Belgrade String Quartet is also widely present on the international music scene: London 1992, Florence 1993, Regio-Emilia 1994, Treviso 1996 and 1999 and Skopje 2001. In 2000, when the Quartet celebrated the 10th anniversary, it published the first CD titled "Numero Uno" for the Natan recording company. The repertoire of The Belgrade Quartet includes classical works for string quartet as well as contemporary music and various pieces of other music genres adapted for string quartet.
