Literary Evening and Presentation of the Novel "The Great War"

It is with great pleasure that The Orfelin Circle invites you to a literary evening and presentation of the novel "The Great War" by Aleksandar Gatalica, а recipient of the 2012 NIN Award and 2012 "Mesa Selimovic" Award for novel of the year.  "The Great War" has been translated to 12 languages already, and now is also available in English!

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 8, at 9:00 PM at Busboys and Poets bookstore-café-theatre, at the corner of the 14th and V Street.
Exact address: 2021 14th St, NW, DC 20009, in the historic 'U Street Corridor' in the heart of Washington!
The presentation will be in the Langston Room and delivered in English.

Mr. Gatalica will give a presentation, after which he will answer questions from the audience and sign the book, which you will be able to buy in the bookstore.

If you cannot attend this event, you will be able to hear Mr. Gatalica at the lecture that will be held at the Library of Congress (Jefferson Building), on April 7 at 12 PM.

With this event, The Orfelin Circle is commemorating the centenary of the First World War, the cataclysmic and fateful period for Europe, and particularly the Serbian people and their culture.
